December 9 Rope Rodeo, tug-of-war, rope pull relays, etc. December 16 Candy Cane Chase, locate the hidden "canes" and we'll decorate the Salmon Hills Holiday Tree. (postponed) December 22 Saturday Fun Race at Osceola. Freestyle. December 23 Surprise guest, from Minnesota and Candy Cane Chase. Start time changed to 11:00 due to forecasted weather conditions) December 30 Smores Please, ski to collect the ingredients, then return back to the lodge for a yummy treat at the campfire. January 2008 January 5 Saturday Classic Fun Race, at Salmon Hills. Event to start after completion of ESG. January 6 Freestyle Fun Race, at Salmon Hills. Event to start after completion of ESG.
January 13 Hemlock Hunt, our first "across the bridge" ski. Will we see deer? January 20 Snowball Biathlon, throw through the hoop to prevent skiing the extra loop. January 27 Who Let the Dogs Out? Skiing with dogs. Family pets are welcome, but must be friendly and kept under control. February 2008 February 3 Map Reader Leader Ski-O, everyone gets a turn being the leader with the map.
February 10 Ice Cream Social, we make our own ice cream while skiing, you bring your favorite toppings.
February 16 Saturday Sunnycrest Fun Race, Syracuse.
February 17 The Mad Hatter Hubbub, remember to bring a hat.
February 24 Parents Day, parents are in charge of this week, or travel to the Empire State Games in Lake Placid. March 2008 March 2 Downhill Daredevils, we will play all of our games on a hill. March 9 Cookout at the Lookout, our longest ski of the year, combined with a cookout on the trail. March 15,16 Bill Koch Festival, Rochester. March 23 Games Galore, what is your favorite game?
