The Tug Hill Plateau host an amazing diversity of birds and wildlife - raptors, song birds, and owls. Birders will find Salmon Hills is a great place to relax and enjoy watching this cornucopia of wildlife.

Stay in our comfortable lodging to rest and go over your lists and guide books. When you come out of your room you are only a few steps from the woods and many platform area to set up and watch.

Red-tailed Hawk - Buteo jamaicensis

Killdeer - Charadrius vociferus
Northern Saw-whet Owl - Aegolius acadicus
Great Horned Owl - Bubo virginianus
Barred Owl - Strix varia
Whip-poor-will - Caprimulgus vociferus
Pileated Woodpecker - Dryocopus pileatus
Downy Woodpecker - Picoides pubescens
 Hairy Woodpecker - Picoides villosus
Warbling Vireo - Vireo gilvus
American Crow - Corvus brachyrhynchos
Common Raven - Corvus corax
Tufted Titmouse - Baeolophus bicolor (Parus bicolor)

Take a paddle with our guide through the Deer Creek Marsh. An evening paddle watching for birds and other wildlife. Return just at sunset as the thousands of birds come to roost for the night. We will enjoy a snack at the turn around point.

Reservations must be made 7 days in advance and require a 50% deposit.

If paying with a check the check must arrive 4 days before the trip.

We accept MasterCard or Visa.

All Guest will be required to wear a Personal Floatation Device.

Any cancellation because of weather will be rescheduled or refunded minus a $30 cancellation fee.

A cancellation for any reason by Salmon Hills will be rescheduled or refunded the full deposit.
