A dam release from The Lighthouse Reservoir in Altmar is scheduled for 400 cfs from 21, 22 June, 2008 on the Salmon River. Kayakers and canoeists share the 12 mile stretch of river down to Lake Ontario with fishermen. Fun filled river rafting trips on Class II-III is ideal for families with kids age 8 and older, or kayakers of all calibers.
