Come join us at Salmon Hills Adventure Center for a unique experience. You with your family, friends and/or business associates will be treated to a great meal along the picturesque scenery of the Salmon River Reservoir on the Tug Hill. Leaving the shore in Kayaks or canoes you will paddle along with a licensed guide. Along the way we will stop to enjoy soup and salad on the shoreline. When we have finished we will load up to paddle further until we reach the halfway point where we will once again stop for the main course. At trips ends while the sun is setting you will be treated to a delicious desert.

On the Tug Hill you will find yourself surrounded by a cornucopia of natural sites and sounds. Eagles, Ravens, Herons, White tail deer, King Fishers, River Birch, Oaks, Maple Trees and much more than can be counted. All the time your guide will be they’re to answer any of your questions, and help keep you safe. Not only will you enjoy a great paddle, and a delicious meal you will also have the opportunity to learn more about paddling techniques and your natural soundings.

Don’t Want to Drive Home After the trip?

Stay in any of our accommodations with a 20% discount and we will provide you with a continental breakfast the following morning.

Make a weekend of it and enjoy our tails for mountain biking, Hiking and Trail running. Or travel a short distance down the road to the Salmon River Falls, and Miles and Miles of Beautiful State Land.

Reservations must be made 7 days in advance and require a 50% deposit.

If paying with a check the check must arrive 4 days before the trip.

All Guest will be required to wear a Personal Floatation Device.

Any cancellation because of weather will be rescheduled or refunded minus a $25 cancellation fee.

The Tug Hill area offers a variety of paddling opportunities and our NY state licensed guide can help you have a safe and enjoyable experience. Along the trip your guide can help you with your paddling techniques and identify the vast variety of plants and wildlife along the way. Trip includes guide and a bagged lunch.

Flat Water Canoe or Kayak Lessons

A NY state licensed guide and experienced boater will meet you at a predetermined paddling area where you will be given instruction on basic flat water paddling skills. Some of the topics covered will be safety, paddling techniques, trip planning and gear.  Trip includes guide and a bagged lunch. We will be happy to customize this activity to you and/or your groups needs.
