Sep/Oct/Nov are the best months in Salmon River fishing for: Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Coho/Chinook/Steelhead/Atlantic Salmon, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, and Northern Pike.

Hans fishing with Wounded Warriors as part of a program called "Healing Waters".

The 18 lbs Chinook was released back into the Salmon River.

(How could you possibly keep the fish with the DEC representative "on your back"?)
