The Tug Hill Plateau in Upstate NY has the most snowfall in the northeast with up to 400 inches in a season, and is a favorite destination among countless snowmobile riders. Miles and miles of marked and groomed trails run through the area. There are great lodging places to stay, eat, and relax, and Salmon Hills sits on a major snowmobile trail artery.

Your choices for lodging at Salmon Hills include staying in our modern clean motel rooms or one of our rustic yurts. The biggest savings for lodging are Monday through Thursday. Non skiers take $20.00/night off weekend and holiday lodging rates listed and $10.00 off for each additional person.
Want to try something different? Rent cross country skis or snowshoes for the day and perhaps take a lesson. With 30k of groomed cross country ski trails and designated snowshoe trails there is something for every outdoors enthusiast.
NEW activities this winter includes dogsled rides and skijor lessons with world class musher Roy Smith - Reservations required: 1 hour Dog Sled Rides:$85.00 per person. 4 people per session. Skijor lessons: $55 per person 2 people max, and a need to arrange for dog details.
